1. Information We Collect

A. Restaurant Owner Account Information

When a restaurant owner registers or updates an account, we collect:

- Full name
- Username
- Email address
- Password (stored in encrypted/hashed form)
- Avatar or profile image (optional)
- Country
- Social login provider and identifier (if you choose to sign in using Facebook, Google, or X/Twitter)
- Billing information including:
  - Billing type (Personal or Business)
  - Tax ID / GST / VAT Number (if applicable)

We do not require a mobile phone number to create or maintain a restaurant owner account.

Restaurant owners may upload or manage information including:

- Accepted order types (On-Table, Takeaway, Delivery)

This information is provided and managed entirely by the restaurant owner. SwadMenu stores and processes this information solely to provide the Services.

C. Customer (Guest) Information

Customers are not required to create an account to browse a menu or place an order.

When a customer places an order, we may collect:

- Customer name
- Mobile phone number (required for Takeaway and Delivery orders, optional for On-Table orders)
- Table number (for On-Table orders)
- Delivery address (for Delivery orders)
- Order details
- Selected variants
- Extras
- Quantity
- Pricing
- Special instructions (if provided)
- Applied coupon code

We collect only the information necessary to process the order and notify the restaurant.

D. Contact, Feedback, and Newsletter Information

When you use our contact form, feedback form, or newsletter signup, we collect:

These forms may also be protected by Google reCAPTCHA.

SwadMenu does not collect or track the GPS or real-time location of customers or restaurant owners. Any restaurant location or address displayed on the Website is entered and managed by the restaurant owner.

2. Cookies and Browser Storage

SwadMenu uses cookies and browser storage to:

- Keep restaurant owners logged in (session and "Remember Me" cookies)
- Maintain CSRF protection and Laravel session state
- Remember cookie consent status (Quick-cookie)
- Remember language preferences (Quick_user_lang_code)
- Store temporary guest cart information (quickqr_order)
- Cache recently placed orders for up to 5 hours (quickqr_recent_order) so guests can view receipts and reorder
- Remember KDS/dashboard preferences such as mute state and layout settings
- Improve website performance and user experience

Guest cart information is stored locally in the browser and is not sent to our servers until an order is placed.

Some third-party services enabled by the administrator may also place cookies, including Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA, Tawk.to Live Chat, social login providers, and payment gateway scripts.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

- Create and manage restaurant accounts
- Generate QR Codes
- Process and display customer orders

4. Payment Information

SwadMenu does not store:

Payment card information is processed directly by the respective payment provider in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.

If the QuickOrder WhatsApp feature is enabled by a restaurant, order details may be sent to the restaurant's WhatsApp number using the WhatsApp API (api.whatsapp.com). The restaurant owner is responsible for configuring the destination phone number and message templates.

To provide our Services, SwadMenu may integrate with trusted third-party service providers, including:

- Payment gateways
- Email delivery and SMTP providers
- Cloud hosting providers
- Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)
- Google reCAPTCHA
- Google Analytics (if enabled)
- Tawk.to Live Chat (if enabled)
- Social login providers such as Facebook, Google, and X (Twitter)
- WhatsApp / Meta services (when QuickOrder is enabled)

These third-party providers process information according to their own privacy policies. The integrations available may vary depending on platform settings and administrator configuration.

Restaurant owners may request account deletion through their dashboard. Deletion requests are reviewed by our administrators before permanent removal to prevent accidental or unauthorized deletion. After approval, the account and associated restaurant data are permanently removed, except where retention is required by applicable law.

Guests may clear their browser storage at any time to remove locally stored cart and recent order information.

9. Restaurant Owner Responsibility

Restaurant owners are solely responsible for:

- Menu accuracy
- Pricing
- Food descriptions
- Food images
- Allergen information
- Nutritional information
- Promotional offers
- Taxes and additional charges
- Restaurant contact information
- Customer communications
- Compliance with applicable food safety, tax, and business regulations

Restaurant owners are also responsible for ensuring that any content uploaded to SwadMenu does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

SwadMenu acts solely as a technology platform and does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, legality, or completeness of restaurant-provided information.

10. Children's Privacy

SwadMenu is intended for use by restaurant businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it promptly.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have the right to:
